Deborrah is a veteran of real estate investing and home ownership education.  She is the founding facilitator of the “How to Own Your Own Home and Build Wealth” workshops, where she translates the home ownership process into a language everyone can understand and enjoy.  She is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Moretta Community Development Corporation, a community-based organization that provides pre- and post-purchase home buyer education, credit counseling, and related services to families of modest means. 

Deborrah is a popular speaker/advocate on the topic of home ownership and community lending. She is frequently invited by non-profit and faith-based organizations to present her message of economic empowerment through home ownership to audiences of all ages. She is a certified home ownership education and housing counselor, who utilizes a teaching model and curriculum that is recognized by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Deborrah sits on numerous boards, including her local real estate board. She also serves as treasurer on the board of  directors for P.O.W.E.R, Inc.  Protectors of Women's Esteemed Rights, a non-profit organization committed to advancing issues of safety, wellness and self-esteem.  

Deborrah is a licensed Real Estate Broker whose practice is based in Southern California, where she serves clients ranging from first time home buyers to savvy investors, and produces the “Welcome HOME Report” talk show which broadcasts on Time Warner Cable Television. 

Her own humble beginnings sparked a passion to share the secrets of economic empowerment and wealth building with others.  Her personal journey took her from being a recipient of public assistance to entrepreneurial success. She gets tremendous joy out of watching clients pursue and accomplish the dream of owning their own home, especially if they felt that limited cash resources and “challenged” credit would prevent them from ever accomplishing their goal. As Deborrah says, “It’s amazing to watch what happens when someone commits to owning their own home!  Our role is to simply provide useful information and resources, while mentoring the client through the process, after which, we celebrate their success!” 

Deborrah’s belief is clearly stated – “Success begins with a vision. When you add the power of faith, focus, determination and action, that’s key to purpose and great achievements.”  

Deborrah (also known as “Dee”) has a positive attitude about life.  She’s grounded by her unmovable faith, which leads her to live each and every day to the fullest, manage the distractions, and thank God for His grace.”  With all that Deborrah has accomplished, she considers the role of being a mom her greatest challange and priceless joy.
